Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tamara Bisceglia has always been a hard-worker. She began her dance training at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires, winning two gold medals for ballet by representing Argentina in Brazil.
She continued her studies at the School of American Ballet of New York. From 1998-2000 she was a memer of the prestigious New York City Ballet, dir. Peter Martins. In 2001, she was invited to dance as a soloist in Ballet Argentino, dir. Julio Boca. From 2002-2003 she was part of the corps de ballet of the Der Deutschen Oper Berlin, dir. Silviane Bayard.
In 2005, she entered the Ballet MERCOSUR next to Maximillano Guerra. In 2003, she also toured China with the show “Tanguera” . At the end of March 2006, she took part as a soloist in a Gala with Michael Bolton in New York.
Her entry to the world of tango was sparked by a working relationship with Roberto Herrera. And since then, her name has become a by-word in the world of tango shining brightly side by side with the big names in the industry.
She is now the principal dancer of the long running tango show FOREVER TANGO 2011.
